Ravi has over 30 years of operating and managerial experience in a variety of product and service companies. He began his career as a field engineer in the Oil and Gas industry working on drill ships, fixed rigs and platforms in the North Sea off Norway, offshore China, India and Brunei. More recently he has held technical management and executive roles in companies serving government and private customers. Prior to AMS he was a key member of the management team that listed Exova PLC on the London Stock Exchange. Earlier he worked at Cabot Corporation, The Boston Consulting Group and Schlumberger Ltd.

Outside of work, Ravi is a licensed private pilot, sailor, bicyclist and enjoys scuba diving and skiing with his family.

Ravi earned his MBA from Harvard Business School and a B.Tech (Electrical Engineering) from IIT Delhi, India


Chief Engineer - LOWELL BERG

Lowell Berg joined AMS in Sept 2017. Prior to this he worked at tenKsolar, Seagate Technology and LaserMaster. His experience in shepherding new products from prototype to scale production at start-up tenKsolar will be invaluable as we make the same journey. Lowell’s data driven approach to engineering decisions and application development aligns perfectly with our mission to harness the value of data from the oceans.

Outside work, Lowell enjoys wood turning, playing musical instruments and outdoor adventures.

Lowell earned his PhD in Engineering Mechanics and his BS in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Wisconsin - Madison. He has over 40 patents filed and/or issued related to disk drives, PV solar, and autonomous marine technology



Eamon founded AMS while working as a software and systems engineer at Planetary Systems Corporation, a spacecraft mechanisms company. At PSC, he worked on more than a dozen successful extraterrestrial missions, including flights to Mars, the moon, and payloads for the space shuttle. His expertise lies in automation and extreme environment system design and verification.

Outside of work, Eamon enjoys fatherhood, cooking, crafting, getting to the bottom of things, and tunes.

Eamon earned his A.B. in the Philosophy of Science from Princeton University.
